Donations & Service

In this time of need, there are many ways to get involved with the community while still social distancing. Service will not only make a positive impact in the lives of others, but it can also be very fulfilling. Some examples of what you can do include:

  • Writing letters to local nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, and other places in particular need during this time

  • Virtually tutoring your peers and, if you're a senior, helping juniors with college applications

  • Creating mask covers using sewing materials

  • Participating in Zoom Calls with local nursing homes and other isolated populations

  • Donating blood

  • Collecting trash in the neighborhood (while practicing appropriate social distancing and sanitation procedures)

  • Donating unused technology to seniors and other underprivileged groups

  • Donating to food banks or providing food delivery via non-profit organizations such as Meals on Wheels

  • Promoting or creating videos, art, writing, or other materials honoring essential and medical employees who are working hard to maintain our health and safety
